Hi friend, I'm Melissa and it's so lovely to meet you. I'm a fine art wedding photographer, wife, and new mom. I live for traveling (preferably somewhere warm and by the sea), storytelling, and capturing sweet love stories like yours.
I started photographing when I was 16 after my dad gave me my first camera before a family trip to Paris. I fell in love with photography while visiting the City of Lights. I studied fine arts at the Rhode Island School of Design and after graduating with my BFA in Photography, followed my heart back to the sunshine state and started my business.
I draw inspiration from literature, nature, light, and design. I believe in creating classic, romantic, and joy filled editorial style images while capturing all those authentic unguarded moments in between.

In February we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Milo into the world. Becoming his mama has truly been the most wonderful, beautiful, amazing thing in my life. He is my whole world.

Tyler and I love to cook. My favorite is anything Mediterranean, paired with a crisp Chardonnay. But give me Spanish tapas and a sangria any day!

My incredible husband Tyler. My best friend, travel partner, personal chef, and biggest cheerleader. Life is simply better and filled with so much love and laughter with him by my side!

Big nature gal here so spending as much time outdoors as possible! Going to Farmer's Markets, gardening, exploring new cities, and lounging poolside on Sunday afternoons.

I can't believe I get to call this my job. Meeting amazing couples and learning about their love stories and then capturing them on film. It truly is a dream job and I'm so grateful everyday for this wild and beautiful journey.
