This wedding is very near and dear to my heart because Renee and I have been friends for over four years. We met on a photoshoot and quickly became friends, creative partners, and share the same enthusiasm for flowers, weddings, and sushi. The day I met Renee she couldn’t stop talking about this guy she had just met. She was practically glowing while talking about him and I found out not long after, that that man was Jimmy. I have been so fortunate to watch their relationship flourish and grow over the years and I know that Renee never doubted that this was the man of her dreams. Jimmy is one of the kindest most genuine people I’ve ever met, and if there is anyone deserving of my dear friend, it’s him. They’ve had their share of sadness and loss, but those hard times only seemed to strengthen their bond and bring them and their families closer together. Their wedding day was originally scheduled for September, but hurricane Dorian forced them to move their wedding date to November. No hurricane (or random storm like the one that happened on the day of their actual wedding) could stop these two from celebrating this long awaited day!
I am so grateful to have been able to witness and document their love story, from their engagement session, to an impromptu styled shoot the day after their would be wedding date, and finally their actual wedding this past November. Congratulations Renee and Jimmy! I love you both so very much and can’t wait for the next big milestone I get to capture for you!
