Sarah and Brian’s Sunset Engagement Session

I first met Sarah and Brian over margs and guac at Rocco’s back in the Fall of 2019. I knew right away that they were MY couple! From our very first emails, calls, and then that meeting I knew I wanted (no needed) to capture their wedding. They have such a lighthearted and carefree vibe about them, and I truly think that reflects in their joy-filled and romantic engagement session at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Unfortunately their original wedding date had to be rescheduled due to Covid and so we also kept pushing their engagement session. That being said it had been a hot minute since we last saw each other, but they are just so easy to be around that it felt like no time had passed since chatting over drinks in Delray. I was also SO excited to meet their pup Enzo, though I’m not sure he shares the same affection toward me that I have toward him haha. Regardless of his uncertainty toward me, he was the most adorable addition to their engagement session! I simply cannot wait for their wedding this Fall at one of my favorite venues- Villa Woodbine!!

BEHIND THE LENS

MEET MELISSA

At home near the coast. Ever-focused on beauty and the art of creation; found in the quiet moments that leave me breathless and in awe.

As a South Florida fine art and film wedding photographer, I approach every wedding with an artist’s eye and a storyteller’s heart, quietly observing, gently guiding, and always attuned to the moments that matter most. From the big emotions to the in-between details, I’m there to preserve it all with care and intention. With a background in fine arts from RISD and over a decade photographing weddings, my work is rooted in thoughtful composition, emotional depth, and a love for meaningful stories. You’ll find me offering calm support, a joyful presence, and just enough direction to help you feel fully seen and at ease. Every look, every handhold, every fleeting second, it’s all part of your story. And it would be an honor to tell it.
